| Beautiful early Summer Sunday morning, church bells beckon families to their houses of worship, birds sing in the trees, a day which holds infinite promise in its balmy breeze and the diesel roar of the generators cooling the beer trucks at the Summit sponsored Dixies stage on Grand Avenue. Squinting into the unaccustomed sunlight, our skin fishbelly white, we were a shade rusty after nearly a month off. Reverend Horton Heat (Jim Heath) watched the last part of the set from the side of the stage which, of course, caused us to become completely undone. | |
